GHC COMPLETE HAT-TRICK OF HINDLE CUP WINS
In the afternoon John Hindle Memorial Cup Final for under-13s a pulsating match over 30 overs ended in a Tied Result, Settle CC being declared the winners ahead of unlucky Steeton CC who lost more wickets. Alfred Walker and Flynn Cartman each retired on 30 and were well backed by Charlie Chew with 26. The Steeton bowling attack was led by Thomas Teasdale who grabbed 3-6 in his 4 overs. The Settle tally of 145-7 was a real challenge but Steeton were well up for that bringing the scores level with one over remaining. But there the match concluded when the first ball brought a wicket, unfortunately Steeton's ninth and last, taken by Settle hero Charlie Holgate.

What a tension packed last few overs were as the fortunes swung both ways.
